Day 01

First Steps in Cairo

 

Meet your local representative at Cairo Airport, where you’ll receive full assistance through arrival formalities before a private transfer takes you to your hotel.

Check-in is smooth and supported, so you can settle in and relax. The evening is open for rest, or a quiet walk nearby to let Cairo make its first impression.

Giza Pyramids and the Hidden Stories of GEM

 

Start your day with a guided visit to the Giza Plateau, where the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure rise above the desert. Walk the paths once used by builders and priests, and stand face to face with the Sphinx. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, step into the Grand Egyptian Museum. Home to Tutankhamun’s full treasure and immersive galleries, it reveals the craftsmanship, beliefs, and ancient Egypt religion behind these colossal structures. 

By evening, board the southbound train to Aswan.

Boarding the Nile Cruise & Temples by the Water

 

Step into Aswan and meet your representative for a smooth transfer to your 5-star Nile cruise. After check-in and a short rest, your Egyptologist guide begins the day’s visits.

Walk through the Temple of Philae, one of the last sacred of ancient river valley civilizations. Then continue to the Unfinished Obelisk and the High Dam, a modern engineering feat that mirrors the ambition of ancient Egypt civilizations

Spend your afternoon at leisure on deck. Optional: Join a boat ride to a Nubian village.

Explore the beliefs and daily life of ancient Egypt civilizations. Sail onward toward Edfu as the sun dips west over the water.

Temples Along the Nile: Edfu & Luxor’s East Bank

 

Begin your morning with a visit to Edfu Temple by horse carriage, one of Egypt’s best-preserved monuments and a striking example of Ptolemaic architecture.

Continue sailing toward Luxor, arriving by late afternoon. Explore Karnak Temple, its vast forest of columns showing centuries of design and craftsmanship, then walk through Luxor Temple as it glows softly at dusk. In every courtyard, traces of ancient civilizations still endure.

Return to the cruise for dinner and overnight onboard.

Royal Tombs & The Journey Back to Cairo

 

Start your morning with an optional hot-air balloon flight over Luxor’s West Bank, watching the temples and fields come to life with the first light.

After landing, explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon, landmarks that reflect the height of ancient Egypt civilizations and their royal legacy.

In the afternoon, transfer to the train station for your return to Cairo.

Sail toward Luxor, the world’s greatest open-air museum, and explore its legendary Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple Complex, where columns rise like ancient giants against the sky.

As night falls, witness the Karnak Temple Sound & Light Show, as history comes alive in light, voice, and shadow across the sacred stones.
